About this concert
Runway to Freedom (RTF), a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit agency, was founded in 2010 by Lauren Grinnell. RTF is a fashion show and live auction raising awareness and support for women and children affected by domestic violence. Runway to Freedom has produced four sold out events and raised over $10,000.00 for survivors of domestic violence. Our 5th year anniversary will benefit Mary's Place.Runway to Freedom’s mission is to empower victims of abuse by providing funding, shelter and social programs. To provide temporary assistance to these women but to equip them with the skills necessary to live a successful life. Runway to Freedom wants to ensure there will always be a place of refuge with programs to support women who have been victims of abuse.Runway to Freedom’s long term goal is to open a shelter for families that need assistance. We are working to provide services to these women that are very expensive and difficult to maintain. Through the support of people like you we have been able to continue to provide these essential services to members of our community. However, to continue to provide these services we need your help.We would like to give you the opportunity to support our organization and its mission to transform the lives of women. By supporting Runway to Freedom you are supporting and empowering these survivors in their greatest time of need. With your help we will create and instill confidence in women who have been stripped of hope by abuse.Donations to Runway to Freedom are tax deductible. The proceeds from the event, ticket sales and auction go directly to survivors. We hope to provide many positive opportunities for local women and children by living and working for social change with the focus on empowering survivors of domestic violence. Runway to Freedom keeps its focus strictly on its outreach. After production costs we ensure that 83 cents of every dollar go directly to outreach programs and services and only the remaining 17 cents go to management and administrative services. Will you partner with us today by serving as a sponsor for our event to help us continue to support our mission? If so please donate online today (http://runwaytofreedom.org/donate/) or use the information below to contribute. For your convenience we have also attached links to information about our programs. Thank you in advance for your contribution. With RTF, Lauren Grinnell is helping domestic violence victims become survivors! Please also consider becoming a volunteer for Runway to Freedom 5. We would love for you to join us for a night of fun and revelry to celebrate survivors of domestic violence. Let’s say no to violent behavior together!Send donations to:2212 Queen Anne Ave. N.PO Box #418Seattle, WA 98109

Jairemie Alexander Biography

Jairemie Alexander is a singer, songwriter, producer and visionary out of Seattle, Washington. He has achieved critical praise with his music and performances thus far on what is anticipated to be a long fulfilling career. Unlike the manufactured artists of today's music industry, Jairemie brings forth a genuine, natural sound that is inspiring and artisticly transcending. He’s also a very self-aware lyricist whose lyrical content goes beyond the typical Pop-structure metaphors. Christina Aguilera, Coldplay, Pink Floyd and Prince are just a few of Jairemie's many influences. An EP entitled 'Six' has been released. Jairemie learned his skills first starting from his Grandmother's self-awareness through piano playing music and the classic artists from the 40s, 50s, 60s & 70s.
