Burial In The Sky Biography
Burial In The Sky is a technical progressive death metal band based out of PA known for their psychedelic take on the genre.
BITS is made up of Rivers of Nihil Saxophonist and Bass player Zach Strouse, long time founder James Tomedi, ex-cognitive frontman Jorel Hart, Drummer Sam Stewart, and Newly added guitarist Brad Hettinger
Their newest album "The Consumed Self" was released in august 2021 on Rising Nemesis Records.
Though the album was self promoted on an indie label it managed to completely sell out of vinyl, its first run of CDs, and gather over a million plays.
In support of the new record Burial In The Sky completed multiple headlining tours. They will be hitting the road even harder in 2022 touring with the likes of Rivers of Nihil, Fallujah, Alluvial, Abitoic, Warforged, Greylotus, Alukah, and more.
With new music and shows on the horizon BITS intends to push themselves to play more, create more, and be more.
