TrioQuodlibet Biography

Trio Quodlibet, despite being a young formation, can enumerate concerts and collaborations with high level series and music festivals, nationally and internationally.
The “Concerti del Quirinale” in Rome (live on RaiRadio3 and Rai Quirinale), Unione Musicale di Torino, Società del Quartetto, Amici della Musica di Firenze, Musica Insieme di Bologna, Festival Pablo Casals in Prades, Festival MITO, Musiktage Seefeld in Tyrol, and Festival Ciudad Monumental de Cacéres in Spain are only an example.
The Accademia W. Stauffer of Cremona in the class of Quartetto di Cremona, Accademia Chigiana of Siena under the tutelage of Bruno Giuranna, Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland of Weikersheim with Heime Muller, Cuarteto Casals, Belcea Quartet and masterclasses with the Gewandhaus Quartet, Fine Arts Quartet, Dirk Mommertz, and Hariolf Schlichtig were solid realities that enhanced and developed the artistic qualities of Trio Quodlibet; qualities that permitted the three musicians to stand out also in important international competitions: in 2016 they were awarded the “Tina Anguissola Scotti” 2nd Prize at Valtidone International Chamber Music Competition and the 1st Prize at “European Music Competition” of Moncalieri; in 2018 they won 2nd Prize at Concorso Internazionale di Musica da Camera Massimiliano Antonelli of Latina.
With their “Progetto Goldberg” begun in 2015 the trio has taken part in a tour in South of France, a residency at Ravenna Festival for “I Vespri a San Vitale,” and a series of concerts for Fondazione Bottari Lattes in Monforte d’Alba, the Museo del Violino of Cremona at Auditorium Arvedi, and for Festival Monteverdi Tuscany.
In April 2018 they took part in a tour in South Korea.
During the course of 2019 Trio Quodlibet and RAIRadio3’s “La Stanza della Musica” projected the performance of the complete trios of Beethoven, transmitted live over five episodes.
For their musical qualities they were the first string trio selected to join the “Le Dimore del Quartetto” project, thanks to which they regularly perform in concert for Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane.
In 2017 they received the “Lili Comparini” scholarship courtesy of Dottor Carlo Comparini and in 2019 they were awarded another scholarship by Rotary Club of Cremona.
