Joe Hagin has over 30 years spanking his guitar , they told him he would go blind doing that but he kept on jamming and kept on practicing, kept on spanking.
Joe cut his teeth on a Sears Silvertone acoustic, handed down from his father under the guidance of Mel Bay at the Helm.
Joe has conquered the stage from projects like his first band "GLYKA".
After Gylka ran its course, three of the founding members formed INSIDE OUT, which unfortunately fizzled out rather quickly.
Through his college years projects took on a more serious meaning, under the influence of Budweiser and other party faves.
IINSIDE OUT broke the scene by playing 27th on the bill at the iconic outdoor show "SPLASHDOWN"
Joe was nearly electrocuted as a heavy set women, extremely intoxicated and wildly obsessed with Joe's smooth stage antics, came running up and hugged Joe.
Joe's Kramer focus 1000 was running through 2 hundred thousand watts, as the large woman, soaking wet, applied a huge hug. The Two were rushed to The nearby by Hospital as the doctors franticly tried to remove the whammy bar, which was fused to Joes abdomen.
Such glory stories go on and on.
Joes next progression was the infamous WAY BACK MACHINE, which thankfully to this day, all remnants have faded WAY BAcK INTO OBSCURITY .
It was during this era in Joe"s career that his playing took a major turn, having almost died from Electric shock, and the grasp of a sex crazed heavy women trying to hug him while running through ten Marshall stacks, That Joe took an oath, to go Acoustic for evermore.
The project that came out of Joe"s enlightened change was the ever forgettable, "WOODBOYS" ill let you use your imagination to figure out what that stood for.
The mid 90"s started to show its colors, IN LIVING COLOR, with the onslaught of the most famous group to date by Joe, "DICK AND JANE" where Joe met the woman of his Dreams , the amazing vocalist, Penny "Poohbear" Hagin.
The band ran its course followed by Joe going into hiatus, disappearing from the demanding tour of the clubs like the FLYING SAUCER, THE ALE HOUSE, POOR HOUSE, PIG AND WHISTLE, And a ton of others.
After years of honing his chops and his vocal calisthenics. Joe unleashed the beast of all "THE JOE SHOW" headlining big shows like the SPICE RACK, THE BACK PORCH, DALTONS CORNER, YUCATAN TACA STAND, FRESCO"S MEXICAN CANTINA, FUZZY"S TACOS and many more famous watering holes across the metroplex.
Only few are able to witness his live shows which are compared to BARNUM AND BAILEYS, SIX FLAGS OVER TEXAS, as Siskel and Ebert were once overheard, after hearing THE JOE SHOW LIVE, said nothing compared to THE JOE SHOW, not even Siegfried and Roy"s tigers attacking them violently, held no candle.

Joe plays Taylor 414, Martin, Takamine Steve Wariner signature models, American Fender Telecaster, Joe uses Marshall and Vox amps.
