Dear Youth Biography
Dear Youth is vocalist Jared Zuckerman, guitarists Brendan Pilon and Jacob Saray, bassist Luc Sylvestre, and drummer Devon Cleary. An explosive five-piece alternative pop-punk band from the cultural and creative hub of Montreal, Canada. Fully embracing their city and allowing their own creativity to flow, Dear Youth won Best Music Video for their song “Who You Are” at the Paris Music Video Underground Festival in 2020, and were named one of Alternative Press Magazine’s Top 10 Pop-Punk Bands from Canada.
In just the last two months alone, Dear Youth have performed at the NXNE Music Festival in Canada (Canada’s SXSW), opened for emo juggernauts This Wild Life, and reached over 1,000,000 streams for their single “Fair Warning” on Spotify. To say that Dear Youth are one of the most exciting up and coming artists in the scene is an understatement.
On their forthcoming single “Juice”, Dear Youth enlisted the ultra talented frontman of Broadside, Ollie Baxxter, to lend his soaring vocals on the track’s bridge. The two artists collaborated over shared files and emails to create what is one of Dear Youth’s most exhilarating efforts so far.
