Shablul Jazz Club is proud and excited to announce a one week residency with the Eli Degibri Quartet in celebration of the club's reopening and the return of live music to our lives in Tel Aviv! This will be the first time such an extravagant event will happen in Israel: a series of performances (from Tuesday, June 30 to Sunday, July 5) by The Eli Degibri Quartet in the tradition of the best New York City Jazz clubs! The Degibri quartet will play two different sets each evening. It's a rare opportunity to hear (and see) Degibri music as he goes through the process from set to set, night after night. At the end of the series, on Monday, July 6, just like in New York, the Degibri Big Band will be hosting a festive performance to mark the glorious week (Monday Night Big Band). For all those who couldn't get tickets this past February, this is your chance to experience one of the most powerful and engaging musical experiences you can imagine! With a career of twenty years, saxophonist and composer Eli Degibri has cemented his status as one of the world's leading jazz artists today as he continues to amass a huge fan base. Among other things, Degibri is invited every year on International Jazz Day celebrated on April 30 together with the world's most respected and influential jazz musicians. Degibri and the quartet come to us after they went into the studio last February and recorded their ninth album, "Henri and Rachel", due for release later this year.
