Pete Muller Biography
Pete Muller and the Kindred Souls blend folk intimacy with classic pop charm and jazz sophistication to deliver organic, harmony-rich performances that explore the crossroads of American roots and soul music.
The band’s new studio album, Hello Outside, offers a snapshot of their sonic DNA, with warm, stripped-down interpretations of songs by the likes of The Traveling Wiburys, Olivia Newton-John, The Police, Muse, and others.
Produced by Peter Katis (Interpol, The National) and mixed by Craig Alvin (Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town), the collection is a follow up to their 2021 debut The Sound, which yielded multiple Top 20 singles at Adult Contemporary Radio and garnered rave reviews for its bold re-imaginings of familiar classics.
