Tom Webb

Music is something that has always been ingrained in Tom Webb since a very early age. He feels at one with himself when creating an atmosphere for the masses to absorb and appreciate. Each human being possesses the right to be creative and expressive, and this talented individual feels unparalleled when performing - creativity has no boundaries… ''When DJ'ing I play music to build a groove, if it moves me, I can get people moving. I let the crowd worry about what it is called. In my eyes, a capable DJ has people walking away from their set thinking they played something completely different to what they actually heard.'' Born and raised in Essex with a mixed background of British and Jamaican, Tom has progressed through many genres of music from Garage to Hip-Hop, through to Electronic Music. Always keen to experiment and open his mind to other realms of musical possibilities, Tom spent two full summers on the white isle of Ibiza in 2009 and 2010, where he played at an array of parties including none other than The Zoo Project. On his return to the UK, Tom gained a residency at London's well renowned Sunday party also known as Creche. This allowed Tom to develop his style and showcase his talents at the Queen of Hoxton, Brickhouse and Ministry Of Sound, to name a few. Tom's love for vinyl as well as digital mediums, means that he is able to cross platforms between both old and new music seamlessly. January 2013 saw Tom release his first collaboration with the talented Sam Russo on Matt Tolfrey's Label Leftroom, and a recent collaboration with Swedish born XYK has seen its release on Clubstream Orange. Since relocating to undertake and graduate from his Music Production Degree, Tom now resides in Brighton where he is focusing on working hard in the studio to produce a sound that encapsulates and reflects his rich musical foundations.
