Raised in a Hindu family, founding member Vanan was heavily influenced by South Indian Carnatic music as a child. Combing this with heavy, groovy rifts, and haunting melodies, the bands first album has laid a solid foundation for the bands sound. Their vocals range from the hauntingly melodic, to the edgy and gritty, to angry and malevolent screams with a subtle flavour emanating from Carnatic roots. Kyle's (guitars) Deathcore background brings in a whole new style of guitar playing that only heightens the emotional peaks and valleys in their music. Merv (bass) is a straight up old school thrasher and amps the speed and angst to the max through his creative style. Drayden's drumming style brings in a new dimension of early thrash metal and modern progressive techniques.
