Billy Badnewz

Billy Badnewz, is an American rapper, songwriter, and music producer from Sicklerville, New Jersey, USA. He began rapping at 11 years old, after watching his older brother, Jose Hott and his friends record songs in his mother’s kitchen in Blackwood, New Jersey. Billy Badnewz began recording himself rapping shortly after. 


Billy Badnewz’s music styles range from Gangsta Rap, Trap, and what he calls, “Radical Rap” which is demonstrated in his 2017 single “Let's Ride” produced by Grammy nominated producer, Bizness Boi. His influences are rap heavy weights; Meek Mill, Jay-Z, Tupac, Gucci Mane, Drake, and Rick Ross.


In 2009, Billy Badnewz started his own independent record label, W3 Entertainment Group, recording and releasing several mixtapes, A Badnewz Story (2010), R&BillyB Vol 1 & 2 (2009-2011), In The Meantime (2015), and Villain from the Underground (2015) under the company. In 2018, He began producing music under the name Wanted Villain. Billy Badnewz’s latest singles, Ride Or Die (2019), Purpose (2019), and his EP, Do You Love Me? (2018) are some of many examples of his songwriting ability.
