Patois

Patois (pronounced “pa-twah”) is an Austin-based 8 piece band, known for their unique blend of styles, most efficiently described as “Equatorial Funk”. Drawing inspiration from Afro-beat, Reggae, and an array of folkloric rhythms of Latin America, the Patois experience is a funk-infused tour through the band’s obsession with diverse rhythmic flavors and curious melodies.
