About this concert
The Wakarusa Maple Syrup Festival runs Fri-Sun and Ted Yoder and band will be performing at 6pm on both Friday and Saturday nights. Details can be found at https://wakarusachamber.com/maple-syrup-festival/ ARTIST BIO... Ted Yoder: Ted Yoder is the perfect musician for the 21st century; his passionate playing style and easy-going personality make him a natural live and online star. Why? Because until you hear Ted Yoder, it’s impossible to imagine that one wooden stringed instrument can sound like an entire rock band or a whole symphony orchestra all in one. A national champion and sure virtuoso labeled “the Bela Fleck of the hammered dulcimer”. Ted’s Band: Doug and Sarah Haag met while in high school at a music competition. Now married, these two march to the beat of their own drum. Doug lays down the groove with his cajon (a strikingly simple wooden box), udu, and something called an ocean drum while Sarah’s marimba adds melodic color and pure fun to their shows. Ted plays and endorses Master Works (hammered dulcimer) Sarah plays and endorses Malletech (marimba & mallets) Doug plays and endorses Natural Acoustics Lab (shakers)
