ROAN YELLOWTHORN Biography
IG: @roan_yellowthorn
Roan Yellowthorn is singer/songwriter Jackie McLean, supported by producer and multi-instrumentalist Shawn Strack. Their lyrical indie rock has landed them on festival lineups from SXSW to Mile of Music and taken them to all corners of the country.
Signed to Blue Elan Records in 2018, they released their self-produced debut album, 'Indigo' that year.
This year they released a cover album called 'Rediscovered' featuring musicians including Ty Bailie (Katy Perry) and Brockett Parsons (Lady Gaga), along with an array of singles including a cover of Chris Cornell's 'Can't Change Me,' to benefit the Chris and Vicky Cornell Foundation.
In 2021, they will release their second studio album, produced by John Agnello (Waxahatchee, Alvvays, Phosphorescent).
