UnCancelled will feature artists and community-valued venues in the global music industry for an on-going, world-wide music event that will help musicians and venues of all sizes cover missed revenue during the Coronavirus shutdowns. The virtual festival is set to begin Thursday, April 2nd at 12:00PM Pacific Standard Time and will continue every day until the crisis subsides. It will be hosted on StageIt, the premier virtual live concert platform, and will host multiple digital “stages” simultaneously. Stage lineups will be curated by established music venues (from cities around the globe) along with marquee artists - who will pop in to perform from time to time on their stages. All stages will feature artists who depend on live performance revenue to sustain their business. Artists will livestream their sets from home. Fans will have the ability to purchase tickets to each stage and tip the performing artists and venues (as one) in real-time. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Recording Academy's emergency financial assistance program, MusiCares - which provides critical funds to music people struggling with financial, medical or personal crises. Any affected music professional who has lost work during this crisis can apply to receive emergency funding. It is important to us during this challenging time that no musician or music venue goes bankrupt.
