PONS IS A SONIC FLASH OF GREAT BURNING SOUND.

New York’s premier no wave rock n’ roll band, PONS has been blinding ears and searing minds since the group’s arrival on the scene in 2021. Known for their dynamic swing and thunderous pulse, word of the band has quickly spread due to their unconventional and controversial approach to live performance known as “Body Connection.”


PONS was formed by lifelong friends and collaborators Sam Cameron and Jack Parker way down south. Together, the pair have set out to make distilled and unhinged rock n’ roll music that explores mankind’s deepest vulnerabilities and the secrets of the subconscious mind.

Sam Cameron’s razor tongue and six-stringed stallion ride like flames through Jack Parker’s enveloping beat and industrious shuffle—creating a gluttonous maelstrom that consumes everything in its path. After adding percussion player Sebastien Carnot to the lineup in 2019, PONS has traversed the lands of North America with monastic obsession and spectacular purpose to spread their sonic experience.

With their dashing look and salesman’s eye, PONS has supported notable acts such as Vundabar, Sidney Gish, Gustaf, Geese, Joey Valence, Richie Ramone and more. PONS was named “The Hardest Working Band in New York City” in 2022 by Oh My Rockness and won Our Wicked Lady’s “Winter Madness” (a Brooklyn-based battle of the bands) in February 2023, which garnered the group a slot at SXSW.

PONS recently completed the two and a half month “SUMMER OF PON” U.S. tour and announced that the band will be playing the SYNASTHESIE FESTIVAL in Berlin, Germany this coming November alongside bands like Iceage, La Femme, Holy Wave, and more.

PONS’ studio debut “THE LIQUID SELF” is out on cassette and digitally October 6th, 2023 on DEDSTRANGE (a newly founded label by Oliver Ackermann of A Place To Bury Strangers / Death By Audio). The release of the album will be supported by a U.S. tour October 2nd - November 5th and a European tour TBA.
