Man, this cat has been around and knows everybody who was anybody back in the halcyon days of pop, jazz and R’nB singers circa 1940-1960s, And he can sing and croon with the best of them. The band was large, nearly 20 pieces, the cats was the cream of the crop jazz and sessions players and they could play. Billy Vera moved from Lowell Fulsom and Jackie Wilson to Frank Sinatra and Yip Harberg to his own compositions. He spins stories of his career tween songs making the performance interesting and intimate. He’ll be back at this venue soon. Don’t miss him.
