The Gold Rush

The Gold Rush is emerging quickly, delivering a fresh breed of rock from their Sweet Home Chicago. Their sound hits with a driving force reminiscent of times when Rock N Roll was at its finest. Eric Perryman, lead singer, songwriter and guitarist, has pieced together this select group of talented artists and long-time friends Fitzy(bass) and Alan Ungurait(lead guitar.) Drummer Jose R. Perez, of Chicago’s East side, was invited shortly thereafter to contribute a backbone and the heartbeat to this new brand of Chicago-style Rock n’ Roll. This dynamic musical brotherhood has an uncanny ear for powerful composition and textural fluidity. Perryman has produced many “feel good” tracks acting as blueprints for the vision of this well-oiled musical machine, and landing an unreleased tune called “Get Down” on a nationally televised Comcast SportsNet TV special. Over the past few years, these young men have been in several different projects together all over the Chicagoland area including projects ranging from hard rock tribute bands to classic rock and pop cover bands. Collectively they have performed at numerous venues varying from The Cubby Bear and Goose Island - Wrigleyville, The Hard Rock Café, and Castaway’s at North Ave. Beach to their local hotspot of 115 Bourbon Street in Merrionette Park, IL. Since forming in January 2014, The Gold Rush has wasted no time taking advantage of every opportunity to explode onto the music scene.
