The Mulch Brothers Biography

Perhaps the best brothers are the ones who choose each other..... Few people get to choose their siblings but the Mulch Brothers are the exception. Mark Mulch founding member of The Mulch Brothers and his band of brothers who all made the bold move to Nashville to follow their dreams and make music together have been going strong for almost 10 years now! The band has had the good fortune to share stages all around this great country of ours with such acts as: Bon Jovi, Eric Church, Big & Rich, Craig Morgan, Colt Ford, Jewel, Shenandoah, Keith Anderson, Trailer Choir, Lee Ann Womack and many more! Radio success came in 2008 in the form of a hit song on Sirius/XM Satellite when their program director chose to add the song "Love Run Wild" from the band's debut EP "Dig It Y'All" to regular rotation! creating instant buzz around the country as well as download success on iTunes. This was also the catalyst for getting the band out on the road to perform for their new fans all around the United States. Fast forward to 2011 and the band getting signed to Savannah Music Group and getting to work with the co-founder and main songwriter for one of their all-time favorite country rock bands - Dave Gibson of the Gibson Miller Band - their EP "Lucky You" produced by Dave Gibson & Robby Turner (Waylon Jennings legendary pedal steel player) - Gibson had this to say about the boys - “The Mulch Brothers are a case study in buzz popularity,”, “They are talented, dedicated musicians and songwriters whose voices blend extraordinarily well and who know what they want and how to follow their dreams". Mr. Gibson couldn't be more on target to where the Mulch Brothers focus is......As much as they enjoy life on the road and performing live their hearts are even more tied to the art of songwriting and creating great records. Members of the band have written for Savannah Music Group as well as MGH Music & Entertainment and have had several Film/TV music placements and cuts with other artists. The ballad "Steal You Away" which became a single for Universal Recording artist's The Randy Rogers Band and spent 7 consecutive weeks at #1 on the Texas Music Charts was just the beginning of success for the band and this special song. The song was also cut by Warner Bros. Recording Artists The Dirt Drifters and was featured in the motion picture "Country Strong" starring Gwenyth Paltrow and Tim McGraw. The title track off their last EP "Lucky You" is featured in the Lifetime TV movie "12 Men of Christmas" starring Kristen Chenoweth. They have also written the theme song "You Know Us By Heart" for Connecticare Health Group's most succesful adversting campaign in their company's history! In 2013 - The Mulch Brothers signed with Memphis based EFG Entertainment Group and released their debut EP for the label in late July entitled "Next of Kin". Produced with Jim Kimball (Reba, Faith Hill, Tim McGraw) and The Mulch Brothers - the new songs return the band to their hard rockin' southern-country rock roots! Radio success struck again with several stations around the country picking up and playing the first single "Pushin' Up Daisies" as well as the follow up "I Ain't Ever Comin' Back". The boys even jumped the pond and had some radio play in Australia and Germany! Popular DJ Chris Van Zant of New Jersey's biggest Country Radio Station Thunder 106 had this to say about the band's new music - "The Mulch Brothers have the sound perfectly suited for Thunder 106 (WKMK/WTHJ) as we are at the forefront of introducing today's and tomorrow's Country Music stars and the direction in which today's Country Music is progressing towards" - CVZ As 2014 comes to a close The Mulch Brothers have even bigger plans! In mid-November they will enter the studio with Legendary-Hall of Fame Producer Paul Hornsby (Marshall Tucker/Charlie Daniels) to record a new album tentatively title "Full Circle" that will solidify their brand of Southern-Country Rock!
