This rising star hails from Asbury Park, New Jersey( a city that's literally a square mile) "Y.B.C", The Rising star was born Kasaan Nysir Clarke. He started rapping at the age of 15. He started off drill rapping listening to rappers such as Young Pappy, Chief Keef, Lil Durk, and Lil Reese. At age 17, soulful rap caught his attention, so he begin to experiment with that. He learned that he can be a person of many sounds and has been grinding ever since! On July 5, 2019, which is also his 18th birthday, he releases his 6th album "Life B4 Tha Road(R2R2)".


The name Y.B.C is a stage name his mother Jeanie gave him at age 16. He was originally known as Chxbz (chubs) which is childhood nickname. Y.B.C stands for "Yung Boi Chxbz". Its not easy escaping the violence in Asbury Park, but Y.B.C manages to stay focused on his music. He has a deep passion for music and he shows in the material he releases. He's been through quite a lot in his 17 years of life, including losing his grandma, whom he was very attached to. The world is in for a treat when it comes to Mr. Y.B.C!!
