Cassandra Elese Biography
Cassandra Elese is a singer from Austin, Texas with RnB music centered around soulful vocals and a splash of Funk. Her performances are a power-packed punch of energetic dancing, astronomical high notes, and incredible guitar solos by co-writer Abraham Freshwater.
Born with a congenital anomaly she fondly calls her ‘little hand,’ Cassandra’s experiences growing up different come through in album ‘Honesty,’ released in 2019, with songs focused on emotional growth and self-empowerment. ‘Coming in Hot’ is an energetic tune with funky hits that embody the empowering feeling of fighting the nay-sayers. ‘Teach You’ is especially close to her heart as it recounts the emotional struggle of handling ignorance about her hand, or anything that makes you feel different, with a teaching mentality even when you feel overcome with frustration, hurt, and anger.
According to Matt Meinke of KETR, "[Cassandra] truly stands out as a unique Austin performer, making sounds that represent Austin in more soulful and funky manner than most others in her field."
