About this concert
This Spring, at the turn of the season, prepare for an AMAZING night of music. On March 20th, the Equinox, The Chimney Swifts will be releasing their debut album "Astronomy" at one of Halifax' most incredible live music hot spots - The Seahorse Tavern.
Enjoy a mesmerizing atmosphere created by bizZzart , who are known for their art installations at festivals such as Future Forest, and Evolve Festival, delicious beer, and a dance floor that's calling out to you to come get your groove on as the music carries you through the night.
Two opening acts will also grace the stage with their awesome sounds. Be sure to get there nice and early to see Corey Isenor Music who just released a new CD, as well as Voodoo Sometimes with their Hendrixy flare and the exciting electric guitar antics of Matthew Fraser.

Corey Isenor Music Biography
Corey grew up in Enfield, Nova Scotia, but now lives in Halifax of the same province. As a self-taught singer & songwriter, he explores the genres of folk, rock, pop, and country, blending styles & sounds, while sharing stories through song. He has recorded and released 6 full-length albums, the most recent being 'Absinthe & Smoke', released in August of 2019, and awarded an 8/10 by Exclaim! Magazine.
Corey has toured multiple times throughout Eastern & Maritime Canada and played shows with the likes of Luke Doucet, Said the Whale, Aidan Knight, Dale Murray & Christina Martin, Amelia Curran, Paper Beat Scissors, Dan Mangan, and Shotgun Jimmie.
Corey has also had the opportunity to grace the stage multiple times at at Sappyfest Music Festival (Sackville, NB), Full Circle Festival (Avondale, NS), Halifax Urban Folk Festival (Halifax,NS), Flourish Festival (Fredericton,NB) and Paddlefest (Saint Andrews, NB).
