Capitano

Capitano is the type of band that does not have a type.
What started as a mysterious masquerade in 2016, mixing punk attitude and drag theater with sprinkles of rock, indie & pop, has yet evolved into an extraordinary, highly unlikely Alternative Pop act.

Their musical DNA consists of all those strands of electronica, hip hop, indie and alternative music that either make legs shake or leave hearts trembling.
Their love-hate-relationship with genres and stereotypes has led Capitano through various stages of creative personas. Seeking for pure, unadulterated individuality, Capitano are taking off one mask at a time.

This has led Capitano to tour Europe, UK, US and Canada, score three live music video productions by Apple Music, creating a shitstorm on German national television, performing alongside big shots from Hip Hop, Rock to Visual Kei and – for a brief time – even touring with a wrestling circus.

In 2020, Capitano take their quest to the next level, releasing one single each month for the full extent of the year.

Produced by Jeff Bova in L.A. (Michael Jackson, Jay-Z, Kanye West), mixed and mastered by Beatriz Artola (Adele, The Weeknd, Kendrick Lamar) and Chris Gehringer (Twenty One Pilots, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Drake) in N.Y.C.

The big finale: Capitano will release a 12 track vinyl album, only available at their headliner tour throughout Germany in December.
