Preston & the Loaded Pistols Whiskeydick Pat Reedy & the Longtime Goners Dylan Walshe Rebel's Fox ******************************************* Rebel's Fox https://www.rebelsfox.com ******************************************* Formed in 2019, Rebel’s Fox is a female fronted Southern Rock and country cover band based in Clayton, North Carolina. Rebel’s Fox is currently booking for 2020 and is available to play anywhere in the triangle. ******************************************* Dylan Walshe https://www.dylanwalshe.com ******************************************* International recording & touring artist, Dylan Walshe, is an Irish musician from the southeastern, working class, coastal suburbs of Dublin. He is known for his engaging impassioned live performances, lyrical songwriting & unique vocal style. Typically touring internationally as a solo acoustic performer, Dylan's music is steeped in the traditions of Folk, Irish, Blues, Singer-songwriter, one-man band & roots music, but never bound by those traditions. An experienced performer, Dylan has a recent history of pushing boundaries as a solo acoustic performer, appearing on bills & touring with a wide range of bands & genres such as Punk, Hardcore Ska & even Heavy Metal. Armed with his own soulful originals, Dylan also sings traditional songs of the working classes & reinterprets a wide spectrum of songs in his own inimitable style. After spending his 20s splitting his time between London & Ireland, Dylan now resides in Nashville, Tennessee. Most recently, as well as headlining tours throughout much of Europe & the U.S., Dylan toured Canada & the U.S. with Flogging Molly & The White Buffalo in 2017. In 2018, Dylan opened for Billy Bob Thornton & The Boxmasters on their Maine dates. Dylan also recorded with James Fearnley of The Pogues in 2018 & in 2019, Dylan toured the UK & Europe with the Swedish Heavy Metal band Avatar & the Canadian Celtic Punk band The Mahones. “All Manner Of Ways”, Dylan's debut studio record, was self-released on Oct 26th of 2018 on Stirring Foot Records (Dylan's own label). The album of original songs features guests & friends such as James Fearnley of The Pogues & Andy Gibson of Hank III. Co-produced by Dylan, the record was independently funded & released with DIY PR. Paddy Rock (US) made 'All Manner Of Ways' '2018 Roots Album Of The Year'. Shakenstir (UK) included 'All Manner Of Ways' in their best albums of 2018. Fatea Magazine (UK) nominated the track 'At Sea' for song of the year. The Alternate Root Magazine (US) also listed 'All Manner Of Ways' in their best albums of 2018. Irish Folk legend, Christy Moore, put the album forward to be considered by the Irish National Folk Awards board in 2019, saying "Dylan is a true Irish ballad singer, I admire his work." His voice is so strong and expressive, at once so holy and damned, it could shake heaven and hell simultaneously. This suggests the old soul of a true roots artist" - No Depression, US. "Dylan Walshe has taken up the reins from the likes of Bob Dylan and Townes Van Zandt, with poignant, poetic lyrics and memorable tunes" - The Irish Edition, US. ******************************************* Pat Reedy & the Longtime Goners https://www.patreedymusic.com ******************************************* Pat Reedy, named a “Top 10 Artist to Watch” by Rolling Stone magazine, makes honest honky-tonk music for the modern world, mixing twang, blue-collar songwriting, working-class pride, and an unconventional backstory into albums like 2018's “That's All There Is”. “That's All There Is” was written during breaks in Reedy's construction job, with lyrics scribbled down on scraps of paper and discarded pieces of wood. Maybe that's why these songs — with their warm, rough-around-the-edges charm — sound different than the contemporary country-pop hits recorded in Reedy's adopted hometown of Nashville. In a city full of Hollywood cowboys and wannabe outlaws, Reedy is the real deal, more influenced by the artists whose filled the airwaves during his childhood years — including Dwight Yoakam, Mark Chesnutt, and George Jones — than anything in today's mainstream. Years before he moved to Nashville, a 21 year-old Reedy cut his teeth on the street corners of New Orleans. He quickly became one of the city's busiest street buskers, strumming songs for the locals on Lower Decatur and the tourists on Bourbon Steet. Those performances became the launching pad for his career, and although Reedy eventually graduated to proper venues, he never forgot the lessons learned during his roadside gigs. Backed by the Longtime Goners, an electrified honky-tonk band of New Orleans-based street musicians, Reedy began making trips to Nashville. There, the group recorded a self-titled album in 2013, followed by 2016's Highway Bound. Although tracked in Tennessee, both albums looked to New Orleans for their cues, with accordion riffs and country-punk sensibilities that paid clear tribute to the Big Easy. Reedy toured heavily in support of both albums, hitting the road in a 1985 diesel pickup truck and bringing the hootenanny spirit of original country music to dive bars, honky tonks, and punk houses across America. These days, Reedy has left New Orleans in the rearview mirror and embraced a new place — Nashville — as his home. “That's All There Is” feels like the soundtrack to that relocation, filled with pedal steel guitar riffs, upright bass, fiddle, and booming melodies inspired by classic country music. There's no accordion here. No punky influence, either. Instead, Reedy sinks his teeth into his own country roots, writing traditional-minded songs about heartache, travel, and long work days. The album's title track finds him leaving town, his rearview mirror full of broken bridges that are beyond repair. "It's about that feeling when there's nothing to hold you someplace no more," he explains. "There's a broken relationship that you've tried to fix, but it's not worthy and that's all there is. It's time to hit the road again and start over with a truck and a guitar. And maybe a dog." On "Nashville Tennessee at 3AM," he paints the picture of Music City during the surreal, liquor-soaked hours of the early morning, after the party has died down and before the workday begins. In keeping with the album's autobiographical nature, many of the song's details come from Reedy's own trips to Nashville as a young 20something, back when he'd hitch a ride into town by train hopping. "I used to slum through town during my early 20s," he remembers, "and it was during one of those train rides that I met a semi-retired circus clown who became my best friend. His name was Stumps the Clown. We'd busk on Broadway, then grab beers from a gas station and climb up the Shelby Pedestrian Bridge so we could look down over Nashville. Then we'd walk to the East Side and go to sleep in a punk house. Those houses don't exist anymore, because the people got gentrified out." Perhaps it's unsurprising that Reedy sympathizes with those who've been displaced by Nashville's recent boom in population. He's more aligned with the oddball characters and left-of-center artists who filled the city long before it became a tourist mecca, and he brings that old-school approach to That's All There Is, planting one foot in the territory of his influences while pointing the other toward newer territory. ******************************************* Whiskeydick http://www.whiskeydickonline.com ******************************************* Cult favorites WhiskeyDick blow minds with a double barrel blast of dreadnaught shredding and hillbilly bellowing that makes you want to knock back a shot, stand up tall, and holler "Oh-Hell-YeeHaw!" The Fort Worth duo carry on the Texas traditions of super-powered guitar slinging and clever songwriting that make lone star music a worldwide curiosity, except Reverend Johnson will remind you more of Dimebag Darrell than Billy Gibbons and Fritz remains more lyrically akin to David Allen Coe than Robert Earl Keen. WhiskeyDick's live show is a true spectacle: two giant, tattooed, mean-looking dudes saunter on stage and sit down on 2 chairs, then pick up acoustic guitars and proceed to amaze everyone by generating more power than a full band by means of Fritz's deep, rich vocals, Johnson's unapproachable acoustic guitar heroics, and their triumphant songwriting. Their lyrics are their lives. With continuously touring in the States and Europe, including being part of the “crusty punk blues band" Black Eyed Vermillion (8 Years), this duo plays over 200 shows year, bringing their country-fried, no-collar sensibilities to small towns and big cities all over the World and are building faithful followers everywhere. On their travels, they've shared stages with the likes of Ray Wylie Hubbard, HELLYEAH, Shooter Jennings, Scott H. Biram, Pentagram, Foghat, Joe Buck Yourself, Antiseen, Wayne "The Train" Hancock, Honky, Bob Wayne, Bob Log III, Nashville Pussy, Reverend Horton Heat, Jayke Orivs, Goddamn Gallows, Weed Eater, Peter Pan Speedrock, .357 String Band, Nick Oliveri, Wino, Spirt Caravan, The King DMC and The Supersuckers. The "Heavy Metal Honky Tonk" tandem, who formed in 2004, have produced 9 indie releases: Rebel Flags and Whiskey 2006, First Class White Trash 2009, Drunk as Hell 2010, The Wicked Roots 2012, 100% Drunk Live Album - WhiskeyDick it Happens 2014 (Double album on one cd), FROM THE DEVIL’S BOOTS 2014, Welcome To YeeHaw County (European Compilation 2015) and The Bastard Sons of Texas 2015- these releases yielded such live classics as “Drunk As Hell," "Evil's Got a Hold of Me," "Shooting Guns," "Barn Burner", "River of Sin," "Blacktooth Grin," "Fallen Heroes," “Honky Tonk Zone", "GodDamn I Need Some Whiskey", "YEEHAW" and the rarely performed, audience favorite "Wookie Pussy." In 2014 WhiskeyDick released studio album #5 "From The Devil's Boots" which was shortly followed by their 1st international 9 Country tour (August - September). Now returning to Europe for the third time and with the new 2015 release of studio album #7 "The Bastard Sons of Texas"... WhiskeyDick is once again taking their Original one of a kind "Heavy Metal Honky Tonk" sound World Wide. In 2015 WhiskeyDick released studio album #6 "The Bastard Sons of Texas" got a new and note worthy feature and landed on the front page of Itunes Country New Releases for 7 weeks and Debut #1 for 6 Weeks Straight on the Itunes Alt. Country Charts. With Retlenless touring 4 months in the USA and 4 Months in Europe in 2015"... Preston & the Loaded Pistols http://www.seankpreston.com ******************************************* Sean K. Preston is an internationally touring band from Baltimore, MD. Their latest album “Forgive” was released in November 2018 on the North Carolina based label, Rusty Knuckles Music. Currently, the group is touring the country to share stories told in the tongue of Americana, Punk, Blues, Mountain Gospel, Surf, and Rock. The music of Sean K. Preston draws heavily on the influences of the classic heartbroken sounds of Country & Western music from the 40’s through the 70’s, the honesty of the Blues by the likes of Robert Johnson and John Lee Hooker, the bombast of 50’s Rock’n’Roll, the lyrical sophistication of musical poets like Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan and Nick Cave, the raw energy of Punk, and the spirituality of Mountain Gospel. His own songs range from delicate laments and lullabies to fiery sermons and confessions. Sean’s interest in music developed as a teenager while growing up in Alice Springs, a small desert town in northern Australia. Sean fell in love with the early Rock ‘n’ Roll, Country, and Blues that filled his father’s record collection. When he and his family moved to the United States, Sean would go to his first rock concerts, inspiring him to learn guitar. Eventually, Sean’s music took him to Ireland where he made his living performing on the streets of Dublin. His move back to Baltimore prompted a successful solo career with his self produced debut record “Hoarse Whisper” and his 6 song EP “Sean K. Preston.” In 2013, Sean began to form his touring band “Sean K. Preston & The Loaded Pistols” and released a full length album, “The Colt From Old Regret.” The addition of two integral members in 2013 and 2015 gave Sean the audacious sound he was searching for. Christopher “Sparky” Spiridigliozzi went from beating on trash cans as a kid growing up in Hampton, VA to drumming and singing in gigging garage rock bands by the time he was 16. Sparky taught himself guitar during his time in the US Navy and eventually made his way to Baltimore where he spent 7 years playing guitar and singing as the frontman for Mother Jefferson. After building a career in radio and raising a family, Sparky went back to drums full time playing for numerous Baltimore based garage, surf, and punk bands. When he is not touring, Sparky is expertly repairing vintage drum kits at Baltimore’s most reputable drum shop or writing and recording for his solo musical project, Sparky’s BUTTERKNIFE. Cory McGrath was raised on Black Sabbath and Bad Company in the military town of Browns Mills, NJ. His love for playing music began with drums, but he would later go on to play upright bass for 8 years with Full Blown Cherry. Cory’s style is heavily influenced by the sounds of 1960’s garage rock and high octane country. He currently resides in Philadelphia, PA. When Cory isn’t playing music on the road you can find him hunched over his 1944 Chevy project in the garage or driving around in his 1976 Ford Torino. Sean K. Preston & The Loaded Pistols have appeared on stage at Muddy Roots Festival, Westport Roots Festival, and Crooked Smile. They spent this past winter in the studio recording their FORGIVE and shooting music videos. With a national tour under their belts, the band is spending spring in Europe and the summer of 2019 touring the east coast with appearances at Muddy Roots & Heavy Rebel Weekender and working on new material. It’s Blues - Punk - Country - Rock’n’Roll...Amen.
