Billy Winn Biography

Billy Winn is a Billboard-charting pop singer, songwriter, recording artist, and performer who captivates audiences with high energy dance records and emotionally charged EDM. A self-described “underground pop artist”, Billy has been performing in clubs and pride festivals around the country—sharing the stage with the likes of Emeli Sande’, Cher Lloyd, Blake Lewis, and Icona Pop. In 2018, Billy released his debut EP ‘Dreamland I’—spawning two new singles; the slick and sexy urban/electro “Seal It with a Kiss” and the heartfelt dance ballad “If You Really Cared”. The EP and singles garnered critical acclaim and gave Winn his biggest streaming year yet—with more than two hundred thousand streams worldwide (Spotify, Apple Music, Pandora). In January, Billy continued the momentum of ‘Dreamland I’ with the B. Ames-produced “WDHS”—which quickly became an underground and club favorite. Now Billy returns to follow up on ‘Dreamland I’—kicking off the release of his new EP ‘Dreamland II’ with the soon-to-be dance hit “Another Broken Heart”—a smoldering electropop tune that details the dilemma of feelings gone too far. Billy describes his music as “electropop music with a sexy urban edge,” noting artists such as Prince, Aaliyah, and Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Robyn and George Michael as some of his biggest influences.
