About this concert
Witchking Music Presents: A collision of the UK's most fierce up and coming names within Black & Death Metal, headlined by Trivax. Location: Wheatsheaf, 68 George Street, Banbury, OX16 5BH Date: 21st March 2020 Doors: 8PM Free Entry! TRIVAX https://www.facebook.com/trivaxband/ Trivax are a Black Death Metal band based in Yorkshire, UK who offer an intense and ferocious live experience fit for the hungriest fans of the genre. The band was originally started as an underground project by frontman Shayan in Tehran, Iran on April 2009. In 2011 he moved to Birmingham, UK and reformed the band with a British line-up in pursue of non-restrictive live shows and the metal lifestyle. It has been evident that the merging of the opposite backgrounds, one from where Metal is strictly banned and the other from the official home of Metal, has created a unique and magical entity of musical domination, unmatched by its fire. MASTER'S CALL https://www.facebook.com/MastersCallOfficial/ 2019 saw the first dark offerings of Master’s Call unleashed into the world in the form of a debut EP entitled ’Morbid Black Trinity’ alongside a video for the opening track ‘From Once Beneath The Cursed”. The EP received critical acclaim from the press and metal community worldwide including industry heavy hitters such as Kerrang!, Metal Hammer and Zero Tolerance magazines. Off the back of this 3 track ensemble Master’s Call were invited to perform at Incineration Festival 2019 alongside artists such as Mayhem and Carpathian Forest as well as a headline slot on the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock Festival 2019 alongside bands such as Cradle Of Filth, Taake and Anthrax. NOMOS https://www.facebook.com/Nomos-1112763802147162 NOMOS was created in 2016 with the intent of forging a soul churning soundscape, fusing together inexpressible hatred and insatiable rage deep within the malevolent teratomas of human subconsciousness. NOMOS has since harnessed a vitriolic fire of audio-sorcery to create a psycho-spiritual portal to a dark realm of unfathomable demonarchism. NOMOS, Greek from it's etymology meaning 'law' or 'order'.

"Beneath all the deadly black bombast shimmers classic heavy metal riff fireworks of the old English school.......high musicality and a fine sense for dramaturgical compositions" 8/10 - Deaf Forever

"A rather dark, heavy brew that hits the listener mightily in the pit of the stomach.....A successful first strike that should find many friends out there!" 11/15 - Legacy

"Long-awaited and much anticipated, A Journey For The Damned is worth every second of your time. Master’s Call have finally arrived and here’s to their very bright future." 9.5/10 - GBHBL

"Records as punishing and characterful as this are extremely rare. Their first album is pretty fucking great and almost certainly Goatlord-approved." 8.5/10 - Blabbermouth.net

"If you are into good black-death, there is no way to avoid A Journey For The Damned" 9.3/10 - Metalbite

"A Journey for the Damned sounds like a blackened firestorm coming through a portal from hell, igniting everything in its path. There’s so much barbaric metal on this album, you’d be hard-pressed to not feel like you were run over by a demonic bulldozer. Seething, nasty, and intensely powerful." 4/5 - Metal Epidemic

“British phlegm in all its splendour....” ☆☆☆☆½ - Metallian Magazine

"With the right sense of proportion, the Englishmen manage to create a fun, energetic and, despite the obvious templates, fresh-looking blackened death metal slab." 8/10 - Metal.de

"It brings very pleasant feelings slowly escalating into a controllable addiction." ☆☆☆☆☆ - Spark Rock Magazine

"Metalheads with an affinity for Melo Death/Black Metal will find a strong debut here and should put the guys on their “must hear” list." 8/10 - Obliveon

"We didn't see this coming from a band delivering its debut album. We really don't dare name a favourite track among this seven because, to our taste, all seven are equally strongly constructed and cleverly arranged, exude one mass of power, and overwhelm us one by one." 98% - Musika.be

"Master's Call with "A Journey for the Damned ” shows that there are bands from the United Kingdom that break out of the boring and depressive mold of recent years, and find an intense and aggressive formula for making Black Metal" 8.6/10 - Metallerium

"Master's Call triumph with their debut full length." 8/10 - Musipedia Of Metal

"In short, we have an album that will be on a good number of Album-of-the-Year lists as well as something new and old fans of this group will be rushing to add to their collections." 8/10 - Ave Noctum

"There’s enough quality on “A Journey For The Damned” for Master's Call to command some serious respect and recognition from the wider Metal community" 8/10 - EverMetal

"There's a fierce punch in what they're doing." 4/5 - Scream Magazine

"‘A Journey for the Damned’ is an excellent Melo Death/Black Metal record that displays talent and technical prowess with a touch of finesse that has been finely crafted over time. Dramatic and powerful, it is a worthy debut a long time in the making." 3.5/5 - Metal-Roos

"Honestly, I thought the Scandinavians and the Yanks had the monopolies on extreme metal, but oh no, they don’t! Master’s Call is as good as I’ve heard, if not better." 8/10 - Myglobalmind Online Magazine

"A worthy debut that bodes well for a promising future for Master’s Call." 3.5/5 - Heavy Music HQ

"Stand tall. This is martial music for the warrior soul. Master’s Call exhibit a wanton pleasure in smashing the superfluous objects of wealth with hammers." 8/10 - Scream Blast Repeat

"There’s plenty that you’ll find yourself coming back to again again as the band infuse everything they do with a freshness that’s a real joy to behold. This is a great start and I can’t wait to see where the guys take things from here!" - Sentinel Daily

"A talented and technically skilled bunch... the quintet belt out one mighty anthem after another" 7/10 - Slam Alternative Music Magazine
