Luca Albano / Weg

Luca Albano, also known as Weg, was born in Italy in 1987 and began his music career by releasing his first EP on vinyl in 2006. Since then, he started playing in his hometown of Rome, gradually expanding throughout Europe. In 2010, after releasing a record on the legendary Italian label LaTerra by DJ Ralf, he moved to Berlin, following the footsteps of the liberal city that led him to play at parties organised by Watergate, Bar25, GoldenGate, Katerblau, Ritter Butzke, Sisyphos, Tresor and many others. Since 2013, he has been playing with the Serialism group alongside label boss Cesare vs Disorder, San Proper, Cassy, Cristi Cons, Priku, Konrad Black, DJ Ralf, DeWalta, Loquace, Mike Shannon, and, inspired by the new environment, he prepares his first EP for the label under the new pseudonym Weg. Currently, in addition to his unique DJ sets and studio work, he organises a party concept called Impress at the Watergate Club in Berlin with DJ and producer Marco Effe, and they launched the label in 2020. Weg is originally from Italy and has been a resident of Berlin since 2010. He is a co-founder and resident of the famous Watergate Club in Berlin since 2014.
