Stylistically resembling M83 or The 1975 with their everlasting choice of sound discovery comes, Drive-In. From Concord, New Hampshire, three capital city creators decided to take their hobby of composing music together, to the next step. Whether over an 808 drumline or harmonious live instruments, Cole, Cam, and Lars are responsible for writing, producing, recording, mixing, and mastering all of their own work. The trio’s first EP, 1996, spanned five tracks long without any exterior appearances. Despite Cam and Cole being brothers, the organic comradery comes from a youth-group the three were involved in at an earlier age. From then on, they took music much more serious. With their second project, the three have found a new focus. Now cohesively working on new music compared to their last, more individualized project. ‘Glass’ was released November 3rd, sonically resembling an 80’s high school movie soundtrack mixed with more progressive and unique production techniques. Whether miles away at college or right back home in Concord, Drive-In plans to continue making their statement, far from the capital where it all started.
