About this concert
Patterns "future Guitar music" A new night Hosted by London Trio SEN3 with Dj support DJ - 8pm SEN3 9:30-11:30pm Free entry SEN3 The Sen3 adventure started in 2012, when guitarist Max, drummer Saleem, and bass player Dan met at a live music night in Shoreditch and felt almost instant chemistry. They quickly started a jam band who went navigated between Hip-Hop, Jazz Fusion, Funk and 70’s rock, organically developing their sound solely through playing together. In between their busy careers as sidemen for the likes of Jessie Ware, Sister Sledge, Kaidi Thatam and Robert Mitchell and more, Sen3 turned their explorative journey into a recording in 2017 with “The Drop”, album which received critical acclaim from Jazz FM, Soho Radio and Jazzwise to name a few. “Vol.2” was released a year later, continuing their “freedom within a template” vision, with room for new sounds, drawn- out compositions and unexpected turns. For the last 2 years, Sen3 have played all over London and the UK including A Love Supreme, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Jazz Café and opening for Sly & Robbie at Ronnie Scott’s, cementing even further their fabulous musicianship. Though “Live” exude love for the spiraling tapestry of 70’s rock, it also shows that Sen3 are on a mission of their own: an unearthed progressive band blending genres and eras, rocketing forward through the depths of their various influences. The result is modern sounding music from a group of exquisitely talented forward-thinking musicians who are not bound by any labels but thrive in the simple idea of creating and playing together. Four Quarters Situated on Peckham’s bustling Rye Lane, Four Quarters opened its’ doors in June 2014 and quickly established itself as one of the area’s best loved bars as well as London’s first arcade bar. Alongside a top-class selection of craft beers, the bar boasts more than 15 original arcade cabs from the early 80’s up to the 2000’s, a cosy upstairs room with 10 retro consoles (open Fri-Sat) and a hidden basement cocktail bar and club space called ‘The Confession Box’ (open Thurs-Sat). Our kitchen is open Tuesday to Saturday serving up hearty hot-dogs, loaded fries and grilled cheese, while the bar is famous for its eclectic events, including theme parties, live music and a host of local DJ talent! All our arcades run on US quarters, which can be purchased at £1 for 4 (Four Quarters, geddit?!), while our consoles are all free to play. We also have two pinball tables which run on UK currency.

Sen3 Biography

SEN3
An exciting new genre-hopping guitar trio have emerged from London’s melting pot.The band create a compelling wide-screen soundworld that’s rich in melody and emotive harmonies, contemporary beat-culture and heavy riffs. Imagine a combo of Pink Floyd’s ethereal epic-ness, Jimi Hendrix’s psychedelic soul-funk, a touch of J-Dilla/Madlib beat
conducting with a twist of Led Zepellin riffs and you’re half way there.
With credits as in-demand sidemen for David Gilmour, Jamie Woon, Jessie Ware, Khadi Tatham and PBUG, the band stretched out in early 2017, releasing their debut album The Drop to rave reviews and plenty of attention from Jazz FM, BBC Radio, Ronnie Scott’s, Jazzwise Magazine and Dublab. Their second studio album Volume II is out now and available on bandcamp and all streaming platforms. Recent gigs include Love Supreme festival, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, Ronnie Scotts Jazz Club (Supporting Sly and Robbie).
