Cassandra Smith is DJ/ HOST of the Back to the 80's Party! Doors Open at 7:00pm | Band takes the stage at 8:00pm | 19+ only Event Doors Open at 7:00pm | Band takes the stage at 8:00pm | 19+ only Event Spandex, leopard print, big hair and more; whether you lived it, were born in it, or are just nostalgic for a time you never knew, join us for our 80s music celebration. Old-school dress isn’t a requirement, but if there was ever a time to bust out your acid wash or wear your sunglasses at night, this is it. There will be Old-school dress prizes! Festival Nanaimo presents Back to the 80s Dance Party. Live music by Vancouver’s TRIPLE SHOT of Classic Rock, who will bring us their tributes to Heart, Pat Benatar and more. Keeping the dance hall days moving throughout the night is DJ Sassy Cass playing more of our favourite 80s pop songs. "I have always been artistic, but I believe music has the best channel to express yourself. There is nothing more vulnerable then telling a story through song." Cassandra Cassandra has always loved singing, but never made it a focus until three years ago. Now performing lead vocals in the female country dance band, Moonshine Mollys. She has just recently started writing some original songs and working with Jona at Indie Entertainment on a few projects at the present moment. Thank you for stopping by today, hope you stick around.
