Alaia & Gallo Biography
Based in the South of Italy in Naples, a city rich of musical talents (Marco Carola, Joseph Capriati, Riva Starr just to name a few), Alaia & Gallo are a djs duo, with more than 15 years of experience behind the decks.
They moved their first steps in the world of musical production back in 2013, receiving acclaim for “Beat Of The Drum”, which reached #1 in the Beatport House Chart and enjoyed support from Pete Tong, as well as lots of radio stations across the globe.
The turning point of their career was in 2016 with the release of the crossover hit “Who Is He?” on the legendary Soul Heaven Records, cover of Bill Withers’ classic ballad, which blew up all dancefloors around the world and secured them a path to the producers stardom.
After having releases on key labels such as Armada, ElRow Music, Soulfuric, Glasgow Underground, they finally gained access to the Defected family with “Trippin’”, covering the Y2K classic “It's Love” by Jill Scott, and participating in their annual festival in Croatia.
2018 saw also the pair nominated “Tech House Artist of the Year” on Traxsource, one of the most important achievements of their career so far.
With a production style based both on House and Tech, their sound effortlessly fuses both genres granting them a characteristic mark which has been identifying themselves in the last years.
