Digital Suede is a synth-steeped instrumental jazz/funk fusion jam band from Johnson City, Tennessee. Their dynamic sound is at once nostalgic and progressive, blending the harmonic stylings of 70s-era Herbie Hancock and Steely Dan with the electronic sonic palette of modern jam bands like Lotus and Tauk. Comprised of alumni from outstanding local acts such as Rhythm & the Roosevelts, Doctor Ocular, A Great Disaster, and Couper, Digital Suede draws from a variety of influences and experiences to craft careful harmonies and unavoidable grooves of all flavors.
