Ben Hanson

Ben Hanson enjoys an active career as an educator, musician and conductor in the Twin Cities. Originally from Duluth, he received his training from The College of Saint Scholastica with a Bachelors of Arts degree in Vocal Music Education where he studied voice with William Bastian and Dr. Bret Amundson.
He has taught in the Duluth Public Schools and Moose Lake Community Schools before arriving at DaVinci Academy. Under his directions, choirs have received Superior ratings from MSHSL contests and has created and developed his own music curriculum for general music courses. He has served on various committees, been student council adviser, department chair, and mentor to new teachers.
Currently, he is the director of choirs at DaVinci Academy where he conducts the 5-8 grade choirs. He is a Google Certified Teacher and created Music Educator Resources which is a website with free resources and tools for all music educators.
