Their performance’s are delivered with an advanced style and flare that is omnipresent in the music of this high powered trio, formed and fronted by lead singer and guitarist Jake HaldenVang with Jordan Mattacchione on bass and Robbie Reimer on drums/percussions. Deeply inspired by a diversely broad pallet of music from many influential artists, Jake HaldenVang is an innovative singer, songwriter, guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who delivers a fresh, contemporary and profound approach to his music performances. Bringing about a passionate blend of modern and vintage rock & roll mixed with his soulful vocal prowess and dynamic guitar phrasing, he seamlessly ties with a flare of pop, soul, R&B, funk and blues. The result is HV’s unique sound and cultural statement, Jake coins as “Retro Relevant Rock”. Halden Vang’s bassist, Jordan Mattacchione, is a highly skilled musician who binds the bands sound together, balancing the bottom end groove of HV’s rhythm with vocal harmonies together with Jake that firmly cements the synergy they connect with and thoroughly translate to their audience. Robbie Reimer perfectly rounds out the impressive trio as Halden Vang’s drummer rocking the group’s energy with exacting precision and powerful dynamic strikes on the skins with placement un-matchable by many as, the tenacious player behind the kit. Upon receiving his 1st music nomination at age 16, Jake was awarded 2011 "Rock Artist of the Year” by Charlotte’s Queen City Music Awards. Shortly following his attendance at 2011 Winter NAMM Show by artist invitation through Fender Guitars, he was then proudly inducted into famed rock photographer, Robert M Knight’s “Brotherhood of the Guitar”. Jake saw his 2nd & 3rd nominations in 2013 & 2015, again taking home Queen City’s “Artist of the Year” followed by the culmination of “Halden Vang” being awarded Queen City’s, 2016 “Rock Band of the Year”. Jake intrinsically embraced music as his career path from the moment he picked up guitar and began performing at age 12. Being quickly recognized, as a prodigy guitarist, by age 13, he was chosen to represent Charlotte NC at the International Blues Challenge. At age 15, he self produced his first studio CD, “Tell the Truth”. Followed up by his 2nd self produced studio project in 2013, recording his “How About Now” EP, features six of his original songs, mastered by Gene Paul, son of the legendary guitarist Les Paul. Jake kicked off 2016 laying down his latest tracks through Martic Productions as Halden Vang began studio recording with Sahaj Ticotin at the engineering helm of Halden Vang’s upcoming new studio project produced by Bob Marlette; one of rock’s most prolific and versatile producers, which is being slated for a 2017 release date.
