WhildFyre Biography
Western Australia’s rock band, Whildfyre, the name conjures images of the raw heat searing wildness that is Australia’s sunburnt country. Having been friends for over a decade and coming together as a rock band at the age of 11 in 2016, it is their youth and energy that reflects the very country that produced them.
Influenced by the great rock bands, Whildfyre is crafting their own unique rock genre. With a mind-melting mix of garage rock, metal, punk and dark sarcasm thrown in, the boys' music is a mix of gritty pumping guitars and bone thumping drums.
Composed of twin brothers Emerson Galic (lead singer, rhythm guitar and song writer), Quinn Galic (lead guitar, back up vocals), and Draven Andrews-Clarke (drums) and Patrick Cooke (bass guitar) - the boys can craft unique songs with messages that have deep meaning and yet transcend generational divides.
One of their first songs, “In London”, was shortlisted in 2018 for the National Children’s Songwriting Competition, and was written as a homage to the people of London suffering from and surviving terrorist attacks. Songs like “Difference”, “You’re a Monster” and “Who the Hell” are about how people should treat each other while “Killing Machine” is a song about animal rights. Then there is their fun yet dark songs like “Into the Ground” and “Crazy” which just get hearts racing from their frenetic energy. Originals are effortlessly pouring out of the boys, and they are currently working towards producing their first album.
Wowing audiences around Perth since 2016, these 4 awesome young men will take you on a rock journey leaving you breathless and wanting more.
