Marius Boloş Biography
Bass Marius Boloș approaches various musical styles from early music to Wagner, due to his special vocal technique and also the strength and musicality of his timbre being one of the most valuable artists of his generation.
With the debut in King Heinrich of "Lohengrin" by R. Wagner on the stage of Bucharest National Opera under the baton of Master Cristian Mandeal, the future road to the dramatic bass repertoire is outlined. Then there are successes in Zaccaria from"Nabucco" and the Grand Inquisitor in "Don Carlos" opera by G. Verdi.
The future challenge of his artistic career is the debut in Hagen from "Götterdämmerung" under the baton of Master Garcia Calvo on Theater Chemnitz, Germany.
He is permanent soloist hired at National Opera House Bucharest and guest soloist in all important musical theatres and concert institutions in Romania. His musical and professional education consisted in graduating Music department of Oradea University Romania, but also attending masterclasses with important opera singers worldwide: soprano Petra Lang and Adrian Baianu (during Bayreuth festival) Ionel Pantea, Nelly Miricioiu, Viorica Cortez, Mariana Nicolesco, Leontina Văduva, Marina Krilovici, Marcello Giordani.
Boloş was a scholarship member of Budapest Opera Studio and prize awarded for various singing contests.
The artist worked with conductors : Christian Badea, Cornel Trailescu, Cristian Mandeal, Iurie Florea, Adrian Morar,Tiberiu Soare, Vlad Conta, David Crescenzi, Iosif Ion Prunner, Alfaro Sainz, Jin Wang, Horia Andreescu, Marc Tardue and opera directors Stephen Barlow, Mario de Carlo, Valentina Carrasco, Vera Nemirova, Alexander Hausvater, Alexandru Darie, Plamen Kartalov
