About this concert
Stories from Storytown id a communal evening of live music and evocative storytelling about music over the years in New York City by those who were there - artists, managers, writers, studio owners, and fans.
Guy's band Storytown will play and Guy will interview three remarkable guests:
- Alice Cooper founding bassist and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Dennis Dunaway who co-wrote "School's Out" among others
Photographer
- Merri Cyr, author of “A Wished-for Song, Portrait of Jeff Buckley” and “25 Years of Grace"
- Longtime artist manager Danny Goldberg whose recent book is about one of his big artists, “Serving The Servant: Remembering Kurt Cobain.” Other bands/artists he's represented are Sonic Youth, Bonnie Raitt, The Allman Brothers Band, Bettye LaVette and Steve Earle.
It's a terrific line up in a great venue and a fine way to spend a Tuesday night in January.
