Katie McBride

Torontonian singer/songwriter, producer and multi instrumentalist Katie McBride found her music through a need to create her own world. McBride spent her early musical years earning a Bachelor of Music Degree on trumpet. After completing her degree she began to compose extensively and discovered digital music creation. Her second and most recent release, the six track EP World Of Dreams, was released in July 2018 and has been met with wide acclaim. The EP marks her most ambitious and longest release, featuring mixing and co production from Joe Manzoli (ginla). Named as one of Apple Music’s “10 Albums You Must Hear This Month: July”, it has received praise from the likes of i-D, The Line Of Best Fit, and Clash Magazine and Beats One. With a music video set to come out in the spring, McBride continues to create and is working on a full length album.
