Graham Robertson Biography
Graham wears his heart and his influences on his sleeve. An accomplished songwriter and musician Graham has the ability to engage with and move any audience. Think Bruce Springsteen, John Martyn, Colin Hay, Richard Thompson, Bruce Cockburn and Paddy McAloon and you won't be far off the mark. However when you listen to Graham's songs they are more than the sum of their influences - they combine into a heart warming, emotional sound that is unmistakably his own.
Performing with bands and as a solo performer Graham has finely honed his live skills. Fronting bands as diverse as This Lonely Heart, The Moondogs, Huxter, Stooks and The Cassettes - Graham's latest band venture is A Different Drum: The Music of Peter Gabriel.
Graham still finds time to collaborate with others. In 2020 he added his voice to the Solas Festival's version of the Michael Marra song "All Will be well" and contributed backing vocals for Sammy Horner's brilliant "Rev Sam" album.
With a new album in the offing and with the past 18 months of Covid 19 behind - this is the perfect time to hear Graham's songs.
