Pheno Biography

Pheno (fee-no) is Australian electric guitarist and singer Jess Green's new pseudonym ( www.jessgreen.com.au) . As Pheno she is pioneering her own style of Art-Pop. Influenced by artists such as Tune-Yards, Dirty Projectors and St Vincent and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, with a huge nod to 80’s heroes David Bowie and Talking Heads, the songs, written and co-produced by Jess, layer shimmering vocals, scorching electric guitars, synthesisers, and quirky beats.
