Queensyche put on an amazing show! Called the "Origins" tour, they played all of the self-titled EP and "Warning" straight through. To say that Todd La Torre was up to the task of singing Geoff Tate's challenging vocals from those albums would be an understatement. He absolutely killed every note! His energy on stage was incredible as he put everything he had into it and his performance was flawless. The band was very tight and the guitar solos were perfect. It was like being transported back to the early 1980's in their heyday! After they played those albums, they did a three-song encore, starting with "Prophecy." Then they did "Screaming in Digital" which is probably my favorite song off of "Rage for Order," and it was fantastic! They closed with "Empire" which was a little disappointing to me, but the crowd really got into it so that was fine. I wish they would've played something off of "Operation: Mindcrime," especially since they had done at least one song off from it at previous shows. I also would have loved to hear some off their latest album, which I think is as good as anything they've ever done, but I understand this tour is about the early days. Now I'm ready to go see them again when they work in the newer stuff! I highly recommend that any true Queensryche fan from the beginning go see this show. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Everything was great, except Queensryche didn't play their two most popular songs, Jack City Woman and Silent Lucidity. I understand this tour was to play the early works, but it doesn't seem right to me for a band not to play their most famous songs. People that were there that weren't die hard Queensryche fans I'm sure feel the same way. You always want to see the bands you like play their hits! But both bands sounded great. Really enjoyed myself.

OMG!! I wish there were more stars. I had the best time with my 18 year old daughter. I am 54 years old and the Queensryche EP and The Warning are right in my wheelhouse. She has a wide variety of musical interest and thank God 80's & 90's metal in one of them. Armoured Saint kicked ass, John's voice sounded better than ever. I think it was a perfect match from a better time in music and life. I honestly can't get over how good Queensryche's sound was. Todd's vocals and Mike's guitar was effortless and pristine. The venue was top notch and the small mainstreet town was a comforting juxtaposition. We drove an hour and 45 minutes from Maryland and would do it again tomorrow for such a perfect show. If both bands read this, I would like to thank them for a time in my life when their music was my savior and again for bringing me back to a youthful energy I sorly missed.🤘

About Queensrÿche

Queensrÿche first burst onto the music scene in 1982 with the release of their self-titled 4 song EP Queensrÿche. They very quickly gained international recognition and performed to sold out audiences around the world. With the follow up first full length album "The Warning" in 1984, and the ground breaking 1986 release of "Rage For Order", Queensrÿche continued to prove their worldwide dominance as one of the most respected and creative bands of the 80's. In 1988 the band turned out yet another monumental album"Operation:Mindcrime", which would go on to become one of the TOP 10 best selling concepts records of all time, and set the stage for continued sold out performances around the world. With the release of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful "Empire" in 1991, the band earned multiple Grammy Award nominations and won the MTV "viewers choice" award for the #1 chart topping hit "Silent Lucidity". During the next ten years, the band continued to release albums and tour the world to sold out audiences. Queensrÿche has sold over 30 million albums worldwide and have continued to break new ground and push their creative process.
