Jacksonport Biography
Jacksonport comes from the imagination of singer/songwriter John Fatum, named for the small town in Door County, Wisconsin where he spent summers growing up.
Inspired by collaboration, his records feature artists such as Sarah Jarosz, BAILEN, Bridget Kearney + Rachael Price (Lake Street Dive), Buck Meek (Big Thief), Dan Croll, The Brother Brothers, Taylor Ashton, Jack Symes, Wilsen, Hannah Read, Jacob Sharp (Mipso) Adam Brisbin, J3PO, Ted Taforo, and Steven van Betten (Fell Runner, Kidi Band).
After 10 years of living in NYC and touring internationally as a member of The RT's (fka Rad Trads) Fatum moved to L.A. where he produces records, performs locally, and plays drums for touring acts including GRAMMY winner Sarah Jarosz, Watkins Family Hour, Maya Hawke, Buck Meek, Bella White, The Brother Brothers, Taylor Ashton, Wilsen and many more.
