MDRN HSTRY Album Release party! With The Frets, Aviator Stash, Golden Howl, Coral BellsMDRN HSTRYMDRN HSTRY started pushing live music and performance art back into San Diegos nightlife when they formed in 2017 at the Garage Mahal. With their growing community of followers, this Psychedelic Disco-Punk 5 piece aims to make live music an audio/visual experience with the use of stage props, tripped out video mashups, and old tv sets. Show-goers find themselves rubbing elbows with the bands singer, as he joins the crowd for large portions of the set. Their music has been described as Quentin Tarantino meets The Doors, with beachy elements nodding to the late Dick Dale. The FretsThe Frets by the truest sense are a modern day Alternative Rock band. Their unique sound is a combination of hooky guitar riffs with catchy vocal melodies. Influences include: Arctic Monkeys, Foo Fighters, Oasis, Kings of Leon, and Catfish and the Bottlemen. Aviator StashAviator Stash is Southern Californias premier contemporary rock group. The band has played throughout San Diego and Los Angeles, most notably Music Box, Belly Up Tavern and House of Blues. Additionally, they are currently writing and recording a third album set for release in early 2020. Golden HowlBorn from the roots of the Earth, Golden Howl brings songs that capture the essence of life. Golden Howl is an e x p a n s i v e folk rock band based out of San Diego. With ear-catching layered harmonies, beautifully mysterious on-stage synergy and carefully crafted songs, they will pull you in and captivate. Coral BellsIn the early summer of 2014 Kaley Morlock (vocals, ukulele) and Joshua McCleskey (acoustic guitar), fled the Oklahoma plains to the shores of Imperial Beach, California. After busking the vibrant streets of Ocean Beach, the two convinced long time friend Jimmy Schmitz (mandolin) to relocate. It wasnt long before the three met Boston native, Matt Rogan (vocals, acoustic guitar) who resided down the street. Coral Bells is a collective of friends who gravitated towards one another.
