About this concert
The Beatles stopped playing shows in 1966, entering what is known as “The Studio Years”. These were some of their most creative years, during which time they released such iconic albums as Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely-Hearts Club Band, The White Album, Abbey Road and Let it Be. Notable songs like All You Need is Love, Hey Jude, Here Comes the Sun, While My Guitar Gently Weeps and Lucy in the Sky With Diamonds sit alongside some hidden gems, that may not have been big hit singles, but show the absolute mastery of crats these songsmiths were: Savoy Truffle, Something, Because, Helter Skelter, A Day in the Life (to name a few!) This 9-piece ensemble from Belfast takes you on a journey through the music from this exciting period in the history of one of the biggest bands of all time. Beautiful orchestrations, soaring harmonies, passionately performed by multi-instrumentalists. Here is a little taste of what’s in store: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2PQLD7Smwzs
