Eric James

Alternative Hip/Hop artist Eric James was born and raised from a musical background. His Mother, Father and Grandfather were all in music. So, it was not difficult at a young age, for Eric to have a love and appreciation for Music. Writing and singing started before he became a teen and never stopped. Influences in all types of genres of Music go back to the likes of artists like Bobby Darin, Sinatra, Bennett and to more modern music like Justin Timberlake, Eminem, J.Cole, and Jay-Z. His writing has those different styles in it also. In the late Summer of 2013, Eric released his debut album,” Topic of Discussion”, to early raving reviews. The goal of the debut album was to touch on all different genres of music and to have the ability to express the diversity of his writing abilities. “We had many discussions in the studio recording this album and could've released 6 different types of albums, So we figured, lets try a taste of everything”, said Eric. “My hope is to have the opportunity to work with different artists and different styles of music in the future and thought, What better way to explore that notion, by creating a very diverse first album”. That goal was achieved successfully and in a very vivid manner. Eric will be embarking on a Worldwide tour for the 2014 Year in support of the album, and already is itching to get back in to the studio to start on the next project. Eric has the talent, drive and persona to be successful at anything his does. Even with a hectic schedule of performing, staying fit, acting and modeling, Eric never stops, never quits and never accepts less than the best in everything he does. Eric's mindset and abilities is what attracted L4WP to wanting him as their first artist on the label. He embodies exactly what Loss4Words Productions represents, as an Artist, Performer and Composer. Eric James has already proven to be an innovator, leader and benchmark for the Loss4Words mantra of “Creating Our Own Path”, and we are thrilled to see what the future will bring for this talented young man.
