KEVIN ONEAL & BOBBI WILSYNTOGETHER: A CELEBRATION WAITING TO HAPPEN Bobbi Wilsyn is back!Ms. Wilsyn, the illustrious singer, actress, educator and motivational speaker, will be making her return to her hometown, Los Angeles, California.Kevin ONeal is a talented band leader, director, bassist, pianist, composer and arranger.Kevin has been spreading his Whole New Way of Thinking nationally and abroad.He fronts a stunningly beautiful, exotic, swinging band, featuring outstanding original compositions and works of the Great American Songbook along with works by the Great American Masters Duke Ellington, Thelonious Monk, Cole Porter and others.Bobbi Wilsyn has made her home in Chicago, where she has made quite the reputation as the featured vocalist with the Chicago Jazz Ensemble for many years, the Chicago Jazz Orchestra, and the Chicago Jazz Philharmonic. She also serves as Professor of Instruction at Columbia College Chicago and is the Voice Studies Coordinator in the Music Department.She is known for evoking great jazz voices and repertoire of Ella Fitzgerald, Chris Connor, Anita ODay, and Peggy Lee. She has shared the stage with Ramsey Lewis, Corky Siegel, Milt Trenier, Joe Levano, and the late-greats, Eldee Young, Von Freeman, James Moody, Buddy DeFranco, Johnny Griffin, Lonnie Brooks and Gerald Wilson.Kevins compatriots are augmented by the likes of Hank Crawford, Charles McPherson,Barry Harris, Billy Higgins, Beck, Outkast (Grammy winner), Tone Loc, Brian Setzer, and vocalistsLa Verne Baker, Nnenna Freelon, Solomon Burke, Hank Ballard, Tracy Chapman,Marilyn McCoo and Billy Davis Jr.Kevin & Bobbi: Together, they are a celebration waiting to happen!Welcome home Bobbi Wilsyn.
