Good San Juan Biography

In 1954, the United States government established a mysterious military base 578 miles south of San Francisco dedicated to the study of extraterrestrial life and alien affairs concerning social diplomacy. This institution more commonly known as, The Center for Guided Seismic Javelins, also harnessed the power of the sun to develop a new technology used in creating javelins that could cause seismic activity upon impact. Shortly after the construction began for this facility, the government covered up an event that recently surfaced and has been deemed the most controversial event in world history. The event is retold through the eyes of the one witness, Justin Case. “I was working later than usual on a Thursday night after the project began, when I heard a thundering crash and soon after saw an oddly dark pillar of smoke billowing in the distance. I ran over to the dig-site to see what all the commotion was about and upon arrival, couldn’t believe what I was staring at. The once vacant crater was now occupied by a stage, a stage that was reaching towards the sky practically whispering to the clouds. The stage was littered with lights, thousands of them of all different colors. An unnecessary amount of smoke clung to the stage creeping over the as the morning dew would a spring rose Within the smog, draped in the shadows, four figures stood peering down into the abyss. I closed my eyes for a moment to see if I was dreaming, but I couldn’t have been because my face had begun to sting. I grasped my face to attempt to ease the pain, but it was no use. My face had already started to melt away. The pain was menacing. As chunks of my face fell to the ground, the pain gradually subsided and I began to weep. Then I heard it. The music. Oh the music. Never in my life had a heard such a sound. It was so breathtaking, I could almost taste it. The music pierced my soul, my very inner-being, everything that I cherished in this world. I was a changed man. My face had seemed to shape back into its previous form, but I had forgotten about that, I was lost in the music. An elderly man resembling famous horologist, Justin Time, passed me as I rose to my feet. He looked at me with these poignant eyes a little taken back from my question. (It is important to note however, I did not ask a question) “The Ever-Wandering Space Cadets, the Marauders of Modern Melody, The Curators of the Cosmos. These gentlemen, my friend, united long ago to form the greatest rock band of all time. They thrive off good times and good vibes, they are”… He rested his hand upon my shoulder for dramatic effect and at that moment I knew. This, was Good San Juan. Memories came flooding into my mind faster than a California seagull could fly. The music has been with me my entire life and I was now at the source. The sudden realization brought me to tears, tears of overwhelming joy. My life was now complete. As I watched the elderly man gently dissolve into nothing, I wondered how he dissolved into nothing. Blackness. I awoke 60 years later at the same jobsite with my ears reciting tunes of muses from distant lands, the unmistakable sound of Good San Juan. A small man with a busted gut approached me and told me he had a busted gut. Another man approached me a couple days later asking what I was doing sitting in this crater. I told him my story and asked him what had happened to Good San Juan. He replied, “No one knows. No one had seen them since that fateful night. Rumor has it, they roam the galaxy waiting to cripple minds, the very souls of anyone willing to witness music at its finest; this merry band of nomads consisting of Keith Fernandez, Nick Green, Auston Wilkinson, and Taylor Hudson. Good San Juan will melt your face, bust your gut, and blind you forever, but trust me, it’s worth it.” -Justin Case Personal Diary, GSJ File. Good times, Good vibes, Good San Juan
