Robin Bengtsson

Robin went straight to the final in Melodifestivalen with his song "Constellation Prize". The song has sold more than double platinum and been top 10 on the Swedish radio chart for more than 10 weeks.

This year Robin will compete i Melodifestivalen in Växjö February 18th with "I Can't Go On". If possible, this song is even stronger than Constellation Prize.

At age 13 Robin started playing the guitar, after several years of playing the trumpet. A whole new world of music opened up and this new instrument allowed Robin to sing along to the songs he was playing.

His talent in expressing himself with his voice surprised as well him as the people around him, and it did not take long for Robin to realize that this was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.

In 2008 he entered the Swedish Idol competition and literally blew the judges away with a voice that was very soulful and mature for being 17 years old. He ended up in third place and though he wasn’t much of a dancer or huge entertainer, everyone agreed on that there was something very special about his voice and personality.

Since then he’s been out on tour with his band, writing a bunch of songs, released two singles and gained a lot of experience and self-confidence. With a voice that really hits you, inspired by as well soul and country singers as today’s pop stars!

This summer he'll tour around Sweden with Diggiloo.
