DJ Syrena

Dubbed as one of “electronica’s shining lights” in 2007 by KARMA Magazine, Syrena has been rocking dancefloors in the U.S. and internationally since late 1999. A consummate beat mixer who cut her own groove in the pulsating energy of the Los Angeles nightlife scene, Syrena’s sound is bold, sexy and confident. She is a master mixologist, gifted with a natural ear for music, dividing her time between live performances, and the sanctuary of her recording studio. Most recently, she has delved into the realm of Sound FX Editing & Design for the motion picture industry, further adding to her developing talents in the studio. Syrena dominates the decks with badass beats and bombastic basslines, no matter what the genre, her favorites being House, Techno, Indie Dance and Dubstep. Her infectious energy heightens the experience of any party, be it for the jetsetters at a Nikki Beach club to the dusty masses at Burning Man, to underground warehouse events or elevating style for a FENDI penthouse party. Her talents have resulted in a word-of-mouth-sensation to perform for the most discriminating of music connoisseurs and the likes of the American Music Awards, Veuve Clicquot, Jaguar, Activision, ELLEgirl Magazine, and Miss Sixty. Well respected by the media and the club scene at large, she has been repeatedly recognized as one of the hottest female DJs by the Los Angeles Times, URB, and Mixer. She has performed alongside The Glitch Mob, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jay-Z, Eminem, Bunny of Rabbit in the Moon, 2020 Soundsystem, Ralph Lawson, Nigel Richards, Starkillers, Sandra Collins, and LTJ Bukem. The legendary Viper Room on the Sunset Strip selected her to be the resident DJ for the raucous “Girl On Girl” Tuesdays featuring the best of female bands and DJs. Her entry into the prestigious Rockstar Energy Drink Beauty and The Beats contest placed her as a Top 10 runner up, out of hundreds of entries. Asia’s Jade Channel/TVB Network based a reality TV show, on her experiences as a DJ in 2004. 2009 saw her on the next edge of digital media entertainment, pioneering as Host and Producer of “The Sweet Spot” a live, interactive web TV show, a virtual online dance party with an audience of 40,000+ viewers every episode.
