Trophy Eyes

We have been completely saddened to see the devastation and lives that have been affected by the fires over the past few weeks. Our love goes out to everyone who has been impacted by this. Last week, one of our dear friends and Newcastle music community legends, Sam Fenning (Same Old Story and The Cavalcade) lost his home to the fires in Nymboida. He is currently on the search for his dog Otto who was separated from him in the peak of the fire. Sam was extremely lucky to escape with minor burns and cuts, as his Dad suffered more severe burns. But thankfully, both are alive today. Unfortunately, Sams house and belongings were not insured and they have to start again with nothing at all. We’ve decided to put together a special last minute hometown show to assist not only our close friend, but also our community & state as whole. As well as do our best to give a helping hand to the brave fire fighters and volunteers. All profits from this show will be donated to the NSW Rural Fire Service as well as Sam Fenning & his family to help him make a fresh start. We had not planned to do a hometown show until next year, but with a big thanks to The Cambridge Hotel and our team, we have managed to make this work so we can get this to happen as soon as possible.
