Zucchero tornerà ad esibirsi in Italia nel mesi di settembre e ottobre sul palco dell’Arena di Verona, definito da Zucchero come «uno dei più bei posti al mondo per fare musica», con 14 imperdibili show: ai 12 già annunciati, infatti, si aggiungono 2 nuovi concerti il 6 e il 7 ottobre.Le nuove date6 e 7 ottobre Verona, ArenaAttenzione! La disponibilità dei biglietti è limitata.Prima della partenza del tour, il 3 marzo 2020 alla “O2 Arena” di Londra Zucchero sarà uno dei protagonisti di “Music For The Marsden”, concerto benefico organizzato dalla Royal Marsden Cancer Charity. Oltre a Zucchero, unico artista italiano presente, si esibiranno sullo stesso palco artisti del calibro di Eric Clapton, Tom Jones, Gary Brooker dei Procol Harum e Mick Hucknall dei Simply Red, John Illsley dei Dire Straits, Yusuf/Cat Stevens e Paul Carrack, Rick Wakeman, Paul Jones, Mike Rutherford, Bonnie Tyler, Paul Young. I fondi raccolti verranno utilizzati per la costruzione dell’Oak Cancer Center, una nuova struttura per il trattamento e la ricerca contro il cancro.È attualmente in radio il nuovo singolo “Spirito nel buio”, brano estratto dal disco “D.O.C.”, prodotto dallo stesso Zucchero insieme a Don Was e Max Marcolini. “Concepito” a Pontremoli nella Lunisiana Soul e registrato tra Los Angeles e San Francisco, per questo nuovo progetto discografico Zucchero ha collaborato insieme a Francesco DE GREGORI (in Tempo al Tempo), Davide VAN DE SFROOS (in Testa o Croce), Pasquale PANELLA e Daniel VULETIC (in La canzone che se ne va), Rory GRAHAM (noto come Rag’n’bone Man), Steve ROBSON e Martin BRAMMER (in Freedom), F. Zucchero Biography

One of Italy's finest exponents of rock blues, Zucchero has sold more than 60m records. He has sung in 5 continents, 69 countries and 628 cities, and he has featured in many international events: Woodstock 94, all the 46664 shows for Nelson Mandela, of which he is an ambassador, the Freddie Mercury Tribute, Net Aid, Rainforest Fund, British Summer Time (Hyde Park) and Live 8 (Paris and Rome).
He was the first western artist to play at the Kremlin after the Berlin Wall fell, and with Pavarotti he created Pavarotti & Friends.
In 2004 he played at the Royal Albert Hall with Pavarotti, Clapton, Brian May, Solomon Burke, Dolores O’ Riordan and others. In 2012, for more than 80,000 people in Havana, he played “the biggest live show ever by a foreign singer in Cuba under embargo”.
In 2007 he was nominated for a Grammy, with Billy Preston and Clapton, as best R&B Traditional Vocal Collaboration.
In 2018 he received the Tenco Artista Award.
In 2020 he participated in One World: Together At Home, playing Bono's “Canta La Vita” outside the Colosseum, and Michael Stipe and Aaron Dessner's “Amore Adesso” in St. Mark's Square, Venice. Zucchero wrote the Italian lyrics to both.
He has collaborated with such artists as Sting, Bono, Eric Clapton, Peter Gabriel, Mark Knopfler, Queen, Luciano Pavarotti, Andrea Bocelli, Ray Charles, Miles Davis, B.B. King, John Lee Hooker, Jeff Beck, Tom Jones, Elvis Costello, Joe Cocker, Bryan Adams, Johnny Hallyday, Sheryl Crow, Manà, Dolores O’Riordan and Hotei.
